The most dangerous container in the world is probably the industrial chemical tanker, according to new research.
The research, published in the journal Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, showed the container is about 10 times more toxic than a standard container and could be a cause for concern for workers.
The study analysed the chemicals in various containers from the United States to Britain, including the “trucks”, which were used in a series of “dirty” chemical shipments in the US and Britain.
It also looked at the chemicals used in the containers of other countries, such as China.
“These containers are made up of thousands of different chemicals, which have been mixed and matched in many different ways, which means they contain very different levels of toxicity,” said lead author Dr Robert Cogley, from the University of Reading, in the UK.
“One of the biggest problems is that the containers contain so many different chemicals that it’s hard to know which one is the most toxic, which one the safest.”
In the US, a single chemical is often about twice as toxic as the total amount of chemicals in a container.
“It is also hard to tell how much the chemicals inside are harmful, or how much is just the fumes from the heating and ventilation systems, the study found.”
The best way to test for toxicity is to measure it in a human body, and that is not the case in many countries, because there are no lab tests available to detect it,” Dr Cogleys said.”
If you are in a hazardous industrial chemical storage area, you might be exposed to a lot of chemicals, but you are not necessarily exposed to the toxic chemicals.
“While some of the chemicals found in containers can cause health problems, such to heart, lung or skin, most chemicals are not known to cause cancer, birth defects, birth deformities or other serious health problems.”
